Code of Conduct

Members of SolidLine are asked to refrain from grieving, corpse camping, ninja looting, kill stealing, or any action deemed by the council to be unfair to other members of SolidLine or other guilds. If you need to leave a group on short notice, it is polite to apologize and thank them before leaving. If someone has loaned you an item do not sell it or upgrade it without permission. If you cannot participate in a group you were going to join, make sure they are aware that you are not going. So use common sense and please be polite & courteous.

Most of us write/speak in a different language than our own and thus it is sometimes hard to express specifically what we mean. Also, we all know of the fact that written communication is always subject to interpretation and thus easily can lead to misinterpretation. Especially when a discussion starts and people are trying to make their point...the pitfall of miscommunication is more than present. And once in it...it will be hard to get out of it again. This is likely to happen both in game and on forums

Having said this, I urge you all to take the above into consideration before acting or posting. Especially when you feel aroused, misunderstood or even get frustrated or angry it is your responsibility to step back for a moment and wonder:

  • Why am I feeling this?
  • Could this be the intention of the post/action of the other?
  • What is the best way to react?

SolidLine will be a guild consisting of mediocore gamers who want to have fun playing. Hardcore players are allowed but those people must realize that the rest of the guild will perhaps not go as fast as they will. We are a tight nit guild, we know most the players well and try to let everyone feel welcome and respected. We are not going to tell you how you should to play a game, you play in your own way with your own style. We give pointers instead on how you can perhaps improve if you would desire so.

A positive attitude is important, moaning or whining about problems will not help you get them solved. We want players who are willing to learn from mistakes and are willing to discuss what can be done to stop the same mistakes of happening again.

We are an active guild and we want to get to know our members, this means that you have to be an active poster on the forums and on Ventrilo. If you cannot be active on one of the two, you will risk being removed from the guild. We ask all members to use ventrillo it's a very important feature, microphone and all have to work.

Even though SolidLine is not focused on role-playing, all members should respect players that do role-play their characters.

The guild's official language is English. This means that the guild chat, forum talks, council meetings and votes will all be held in English. Also all the rules and regulations are issued in English.

No member will ever be forced to our PvP army. You only enlist by free will. A "Call to Arms" issued by the Council is a warning that the guild is under attack, we need all the help we can to defend a certain area.

Members have access to all facilities that SolidLine will provide.

SolidLine will take part in all the End Game PvE Raids and PvP activities.

Alts of guild members will have to be either in SolidLine or un-guilded. Experience has proven that one cannot align itself to two different guilds at the same time. There will always be one guild the player will be most active on.

Every member has to follow the Code of Conduct (described here). If you fail to do this it will lead to removal from the guild.
